You can add a new shot to your video from the timeline, storyboard, or Media panel — or ask chat to do it for you.

From the timeline or storyboard

1. In the timeline, click Add scene at the end of the shot list, or in the storyboard, click the New scene tile at the end of the grid

2. The Scene panel opens with an Image Prompt field

3. Describe what you want in the shot and click Generate image

New shots are added to the end of your video.

From an uploaded image or video

1. Go to Media > Uploaded

2. Select the image or video you want to use

3. Click Add new scene to add it as a new shot at the end

You can also drag and drop an image or video directly onto the timeline to add it as a new shot.

With chat

Describe the shot you want to add and where it should go:

• "Add a shot at the end showing a close-up of the product on a marble surface."

• "Insert a new shot after shot 3 with a team celebrating in an office."

Chat can add one or several shots at once and will place them where you specify.

Tip: After adding a shot, you can animate it using the Scene panel or ask chat to animate it for you.
