Add movement to a shot (pan, zoom, and camera effects)

Make your still images move with simple camera effects (no credits required).

If you want to add movement to a shot without using an AI animation model, you can apply a camera effect directly from the Scene panel. These effects are free and don't cost any credits.

Available effects

  • Bounce Zoom — zooms in and bounces slightly

  • Zoom In — slow, steady zoom toward the subject

  • Cinematic — subtle camera drift for a film-like feel

  • Pan Left / Pan Right / Pan Up — slides the frame in a direction

How to apply

  1. Click on a shot to open the Scene panel

  2. Under Animation, select an effect

  3. Click Animate — no prompt needed

The effect is applied instantly without generating a new video clip.

When to use this

These effects are a great option when:

  • You want to avoid still images being rejected by platforms like Facebook or TikTok

  • You want movement without spending credits

  • You're drafting and want to see how a shot feels before committing to AI animation

Note: If you ask the chat to "add movement" or "animate" a shot, it will use the AI image-to-video model and cost credits. To use free camera effects, apply them directly from the Scene panel.
