Upload a file
To open the Music panel: switch to Timeline view, then click Add music on the music row (or click an existing track).
Once it's open:
-
Go to the Uploads tab.
-
Click Upload Audio and choose a file.
Accepted formats: MP3, WAV, M4A, AAC, OGG, WEBM, FLAC — up to 256 MB, no duration limit. Once uploaded, click it to place it on the timeline.
Anything uploaded here lands on the Music track and is never transcribed — even if it has vocals or spoken words. Want spoken words in a file to become your voiceover and generate matching visuals instead? See Start from uploaded audio.
Adjust it
Once placed on the timeline, an uploaded track has the same Music Volume and Fade in & out controls as a library track.
If your uploaded audio is competing with the volume of other audio (animation or voiceover), you can adjust the volumes — either with the sliders, or by asking chat directly:
-
"Adjust the audio volumes"
-
"Make the music the loudest and lower the animation audio"
See Audio volume and speed for the full picture of how each layer mixes together.
Find your uploads
The Uploads tab lists tracks most-recent-first, labeled with the file's original filename. There's no way to rename or delete an upload, so double-check the file before uploading.
Uploads are shared across your whole team. Any teammate can reuse a file you've uploaded.
